For those that use chrome I just wanted to pass along probably something most already know..
But Chrome is a follower of wherever you go and log in to...

I just happened to check my data on chrome and i was shocked lol...
It had saved everywhere i had been, log in's, sites, everything...

it doesn't take up alot of data but i had some on mine that went back to when i first chose Chrome as my main browser for fatcat....

I just went to browsing data and cleared it all...I thot i'd pass it along seems alot on fatcat use chrome...
I had things on here from 2014....It was pages and pages..lol.
Then i seen how many times i posted and logged in to fatcat and wow i was shocked...The list was so long. I thot clear it,sure can't hurt..

Might be something you all already knew but i didn't,and thought i'd pass it on..

    Good Luck Fatcattters

I can try HK......Go to the top click history..When that link comes up at the bottom says Show full history...Then clear data browsing....
That was all i did just to rid me of the data it collected....
    1) History
    2) Full History
    3)Click browsing history
    4) Clear data browsing

I hope i helped explaining this HappyKampr

My son, my computer guru, suggests deleting history and cookies once a week. The saved login feature is a check box in that same tab. I only save them for fun sites like here, never banking or anything serious. I love learning new stuff... thanks BigC

Thanks BigC, I knew about deleting the history and do it often. I thought maybe there was something else I should be doing. Anyway, I can use all the help I can get and your advise is a good reminder. ;)....Thanks Again.....HK

If you do not want a lot of this saved to be deleted later on you can use Chrome in "Incognito Mode" In this mode it will not save the following
    • Your browsing history
    • Cookies and site data
    • Information entered in forms
You will not be invisible... its just that these things will not be saved in Chrome and as such in your computer, your downloads and bookmarks will still be saved

To use Incognito mode simply click the 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the google page and select New Incognito Window from the dropdown menu.

The incognito should be there whether you are signed in or not I believe

CTRL + SHIFT + N is the key combination to start Incognito.
